Half-day Ephesus tour takes you on a fascinating journey back in time to explore the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the most well-preserved archaeological sites in the world, and also includes a visit to the iconic Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

The tour will begin with a pick-up from a designated meeting point, which could be your hotel or a central location in the city of Selcuk or Kusadasi, Turkey. Make sure to be ready at the specified time for a prompt departure.Your guide will accompany you on a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle for a short drive to the ancient city of Ephesus. During the drive, the guide will provide you with some historical background and interesting facts about the sites you are going to visit.

Upon arriving at Ephesus, you´ll enter the archaeological site and start your guided tour. Ephesus was one of the most important cities of the Roman Empire and boasts remarkable structures and well-preserved ruins. Some of the highlights you´ll explore include:

The Grand Theater: A colossal amphitheater that once held up to 25,000 spectators and hosted various performances and gladiator contests.

The Library of Celsus: An impressive two-story library that housed thousands of scrolls and served as a monumental tomb for the Roman senator Celsus.

The Temple of Hadrian: A beautifully decorated temple dedicated to the Roman Emperor Hadrian.

After concluding the tour of Ephesus, you will proceed to the site of the Temple of Artemis. Although not much of the temple remains today, it was once a magnificent structure, dedicated to the Greek goddess Artemis, and was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

After exploring the Temple of Artemis, the tour will conclude, and you´ll be driven back to the meeting point in Selcuk or Kusadasi.
