Tour Description

Early in the morning, you will be picked from your hotel and drive to the Istanbul Airport.

And, you fly to the Sanliurfa Airport. When you land, our tour guide will welcome you. The first place that you will visit is Gobeklitepe.

Gobeklitepe, is the first world’s first temple of mankind dates back to twelve thousand years ago, circa, 10,000 BC. Göbeklitepe is a series of mainly circular and oval-shaped structures set on the top of a hill. There is archeological proof that these installations were not used for domestic use, but predominantly for ritual or religious purposes.

Sanliurfa Archeologic and Mosaic Museum is one of the biggest museums in Turkey. The museum consists of two major sections: the mosaic section and the archaeology section.

The pool of Abraham & Cave of Abraham, local tradition says the Prophet Abraham was born and raised. The story says that when Ibrahim landed in the fire, Allah turned the flames into the water and the burning logs into fish, hence the translation of the Turkish name is “lake of fish”. Also, you have free time to visit the local market.

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the Sanliurfa Airport and fly back to Istanbul. And, you will be transferred to your hotel.
